Life Forces

There truly are forces that have an impact on one’s life – present and future. These forces are the force of one’s beliefs, relationships, habits and words.

Beliefs

What one believes about themselves – are you a chump or a champ? Beautiful or ugly? Smart or dumb? Can’t win because there is insurmountable bad stuff? Whatever is playing on the video and audio tape in your mind will have a defining impact on your world. By changing one’s belief system one’s life can change. Here’s the key – it doesn’t matter one iota if you have a pure, compassionate, loving and empathic heart; if the stuff in your head is the opposite you are basically swimming in quicksand. So, believe in your MIND the best and reinforce the positive about yourself.

Relationships

Relationships are key to moving forward in life. If we are going to go anywhere in life its definitely going to take some kind of help. Look, Oprah can’t do  it alone so what makes you think you can?  For example, for spiritual guidance she has Maya Angelou. For romantic love and emotional support she has Steadman. For unconditional love and friendship she has Gail. For financial advice she has Warren Buffet. For hair she has Andre Walker.  To make her magazine and mega empire run she has throngs of talented people to support her. Same with your life — going anywhere substantial is impossible alone.  Just like Oprah, you need a team of the RIGHT people to help get you where you want to go in life. Your journey will not only be better but it will be safer with these right people with you along for the ride. It is so very important to continue to evaluate the relationships in your life. Be relentless and diligent in surrounding yourself with people who will not only help you get to the places you want to go but will help you to be the best person you can become. And of course these folks will ensure that you  have a hellavu good time along the way!

Habits

Ok, when I say habit I am not talking about OCD stuff. I am talking about good, compassionate, nurturing habits. Working out/exercising. Meditating. Allowing yourself to think. Good habits that ENHANCE your life and well being. Anything that promotes and prolongs a positive, long life is a good habit to have. Nuff said.

Words

Words can be a powerful creative as well destructive force…it all depends on how you use them.  They have the power to bring encouragement, blessing, healing and wisdom. But that same power can bring hurt, shame, blame and discouragement.  We can see where words change the course of history.  Women’s right to vote would not have been brought to light if Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott did not organize and rally the Seneca Falls Women’s Convention in 1848 which lead to the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote in 1920. The words of Martin Luther King “I have a dream” and Winston Churchill “if you are going to go through hell, keep going” moved countless numbers of people to continue to fight when things looked most bleak. Words have the power to bless or curse the future. Choose your words wisely as they have the ability to influence your present and your future.
