Do what you say. Simple right? Not so much. A lot of people have a hard time living up to their word to themselves as well as others. It’s where a lot of stress and discontent come into play. I could write for days about people not meaning what they say nor doing what they say what they will do. But this post is about the words you say to yourself. Do you what you say you will do. If you want to write, write. If you want to draw, draw. Live your life by your word and when you do it becomes easier to look past what other people are doing in theirs. What I learned is that when you live your life by your word, you will never be satisfied with other people’s success stories. Write your own tale and bring it to life by living your word. You have everything you need to become what you are capable of becoming.
It’s funny but awesome things happen when you decide to take control. Which ultimately means saying less and doing more. It means not allowing others to do your thinking, talking or making decisions for you. Thinking and doing are two very different things. I’ve never heard of a success story ending when the person was thinking about it.
Ultimately, you are what you do, not what you say you’ll do. Good things don’t come to those who wait; they come to those who work on meaningful goals.
