Make peace with your past so that it doesn’t mess up your present. What you used to do is totally different from what you do. Be the person you want to be and leave the used to and old thinking to the wayside.
If we want to effect change it just takes a 5 second pause. Before you answer take the time to think. So many of us just react and this is where we get into trouble or fall onto bad habits. Take the pause and then respond as the person you want to be.
Because in the end it doesn’t matter who you used to be, what mattes is who you decide to be today.
