I am grateful for a lot things in my life but what I’ve realized is that ever since I’ve started keeping my gratitude journal I “feel” grateful. It’s a different feeling than just “living.” Reading my daily listings fills my heart and sometimes I cry tears of joy about the fullness of my life.
Try to keep a gratitude journal by your bed. Reach for it the first thing in the morning and the last thing you do before you go to bed. Jot down what you have to be thankful for. Jot down what you’re grateful for and things will change. Your perspective will be from one of gratefulness for all that you have in your life.
